The beautiful painting is by the amazing Melissa Mary Duncan, and the cover layout is by my talented daughter Kate Landels, based on the lovely design of Allaigna’s Song: Overture by Kris Sayer.

You call yourself a grammarian, and you use the verb “reveal” instead of the noun “revelation”? That’s as bad as “fail” for “failure” I can’t believe you’d contribute to the dumbing down of the language.
Language is constantly changing, whether you or I like it or not. The term ‘cover reveal’ is industry standard at the moment. ‘Cover revelation’ implies some sort of discovery about a cover, not the simple act of revealing it, and would be misleading. The purpose of a headline is to convey information about the content succinctly and clearly, to which end ‘cover revelation’ would make a terrible headline.
